I had to get this for my Chemistry class, either this or the 8th edition, and luckily I found this for a cheap price. There were others who also sold this version, but the price was pretty high and this is the lowest that I found. The textbook has been very helpful, having problems and solutions in it for practice work. If you're debating whether to buy this book or find something else, I would totally just go with this because this is the best deal there is as far as I know.The textbook I got was in good condition when it arrived, no torn/missing pages anywhere. The cover is a little bent at the corners, but I'm fine with that considering I bought a used one. The delivery came on time; I have prime.
It's exactly what my professor is teaching in class - in fact I'm pretty sure he pulls his powerpoint slides straight from this textbook.

Exactly what my son needed! As described.
I bought this for my chemistry class through college. It was a great book and very informative. It really explained things thoroughly.
Didnt need it for class
I bought this book late last year for my Chemical Technology Classes.
It is a very well organize chemistry book for students that are studying
chemistry for the first time, for it brakes everything in a concise format.
The seller was very good, the order came on time at the right date, and
as it has been described. I am very satisfy the way it was handled.
I am of the opinion that most good classes focus more on the instructor than on the textbook. That being said, a solid textbook is useful and should help develop intuitions to solve problems. That's kinda where I like this text.
There are many different problems from each given chapter that an instructor could assign, but the practice problems here seem genuinely interesting because they're varied in their approach. I've come away from each session of homework feeling as if I actually learned something because I had ample opportunity to practice the ideas through the homework.
I've had other textbooks where I only paid attention to them to look for facts that weren't mentioned in lecture. This is one of the few textbooks I actually go through looking for knowledge. Pretty sweet. That being said, some of the explanations in the book aren't very good and I had to reach outside of the book a few times. Overall I'm glad I bought a copy.

This book came in fair to good condition. Some wear and tear but not a whole lot. As for the content, I found this chemistry book a lot more easier to understand than my professor. I read the chapters and took note of the examples. I had no problems whatsoever understanding the material in this book. Each concept was explained very well.
